Palmarosa oil is from a grass that smells like a combination of rose and geranium. For this reason, it is wonderful as a relaxant and pairs well with citrus oils for helping reduce anxiety. Traditional uses include treating infection, moisturizing skin for eczema and psoriasis, and as an antiseptic. In fact, one study found it to be a stronger antibacterial than lavender oil. Popular ways to enjoy it include placing a few drops in a warm bath to aid relaxation or adding a few drops to a diffuser to stimulate mental well-being.
